The Wyoming Department of Transportation closed the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 towards Buffalo at around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after a truck with a different kind of load caught fire near milepost 38.

Some local youngsters were recognized at the National Western Stock Show in Denver recently. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy spoke with Rindy West, the mother of 10 year-old Sheridan resident Braden West.
SCSD1 Schools Will Start Two Hours Later Than Usual Wednesday (Photo by Chris Foy)
Sheridan County School District One schools will be starting late Wednesday morning. Superintendent Marty Kobza tells Sheridan Media there will be a two-hour delay for bus pick-up in the morning, as well as a two-hour delay for classes to begin.
Governor Matt Mead signed Senate File 104 Tuesday, which removes many of the duties of the superintendent of public instruction in Wyoming. The Governor appointed Dr. James O. Rose to be the Interim Director of the Wyoming Department of Education.
