It was the brigade of the blue bags as Boy Scouts from Troop one seventeen hit the streets of Sheridan, all part of the Saturday's Scouting for Food service project.

The local Cub Scouts distributed the blue plastic bags to community homes with instructions to fill them with nonperishable food items and this past Saturday the Boy Scouts with their leaders drove up and down the streets gathering food bags.
Victor Dlomnel is the Senior Patrol Leader for the troop and gives us his take on the day.

The food was distributed to our three local food banks, Peoples Assistance, the Salvation Army, and Joseph's Storehouse.
