Earlier this month we reported that the Sheridan Community Land Trust received two grants totaling $55,600. The majority of those funds will be used to construct the 4.4 mile Soldier Ridge Trail west of Sheridan. Land Trust Executive Director Colin Betzler says that they are looking for anyone willing to lend a hand in building the trail.
When completed, the Soldier Ridge Trail will be a single-track, non-motorized trail that will be open to the public. If you would like help volunteer with the trail in early June, you can contact the Sheridan Community Land Trust at 673-4702.
