Sheridan College in Johnson County hosted a Business After Hours Thursday night to showcase what the college is offering the community and also to highlight one of the college's new educational tools.

The BAH series features a different local vendor each week. SCJC Director Ashlea Redding explains how the after hours events work.

Featured at the after hours was Sheridan College's new educational tool, called the I-Tec Mobile Training Center, which is essentially a semi trailer filled with technical training tools that can be mobilized anywhere, said Redding.

Redding said the college is constantly expanding their curriculum, and new ideas for classes are always being discussed.

In addition to regular classes held in Buffalo, there are a number of online and video-conferencing classes available through the Buffalo campus. And, Redding said, next year the college will offer an Associates Degree in Applied Arts that can be earned without ever leaving Johnson County.

Registration for the Spring semester begins November 30th, and classes will begin January 18th. For more information on Sheridan College in Johnson County, call Ashlea Redding at 684-2001.
