Scientists From China Visit Wyoming to Discuss Clean Coal Technology

A group of scientists from China are spending some time in the Cowboy State as part of a clean coal research project between the U.S. and China. University of Wyoming Carbon Management Institute Director Ron Surdam says that he expects that both Wyoming and China should benefit greatly from this exchange program.

In late May and early June of this year, state officials, including Governor Matt Mead spent time in China at a forum to discuss mining regulations and ways to limit emissions from burning coal.
