This month's Sheridan County Historical Society dinner presentation will feature a unique topic from presenter John Sutton.
His presentation is titled “Lifting the Hoods Off of Our Grandfathers: A New Way to Present History, or a Cheap Shot?” SCHS board member Katie Curtiss tells us that while researching his family history Sutton found two things.
An instructor and grant manager at Sheridan College and a writer, Sutton is working on a creative nonfiction narrative based on this research of his own family. As usual to make a reservation for dinner you must do so by noon today. Call the museum at 675-1150. It's free to just go watch the presentation. The dinner is at the Kalif Shrine, 145 W. Loucks and the free program starts at 6:45 this Thursday evening.
