School Superintendent Weighs in on Dropout Age

Officials with Sheridan County School District #2 recently met with local legislators to offer some ideas to be considered during the upcoming legislative session. Raising the dropout age from 16 to 18 and revoking the students drivers license if their parents allow them to dropout are a few of the issues that district officials would like to have legislators consider in February.

District #2 Superintendent Craig Dougherty talks about why he's such a staunch supporter of the idea.

If you'd like to offer your opinion on the issue of raising the dropout age, it's this week's Bank of Sheridan, Sheridan Media poll question. You can vote and comment by clicking on the poll question banner on the right side of the homepage.
