Middle school students of Sheridan County School District One will have some new hi-tech gadgets to aid in the learning process this year, as the School District has kicked off an iPad initiative for the year. District One Superintendent Marty Kobza.
Kobza says that every middle school student is equipped with an iPad.
Kobza said that they've paid for the iPads by budgeting textbook money over the next two years. Next year students at the high school will be outfitted with iPads. He also said that the cost of the textbooks on the iPads are significantly lower than if the school district were to purchase the books in standard hard copy format.
