At Tuesday night's School District 2 Board of Trustees meeting, SHS math teacher Jeff Mowry demonstrated the e-Instruction program, or "Clickers" for which the District recently received an $80,000 grant to purchase. Assistant Superintendent Tom Sachse explains.
Twenty classes will use the Clickers at Sheridan High School, and fifteen classes will use them at the Sheridan Junior High School.
What is so exceptional about using them, Sachse says, is that the test results are instant, so that teachers can know right away what areas need more instruction over others. Compared to the PAWS results, he comments.
The board got to use the Clickers to see how they work, and then approved the purchase.
