School District 1 Kindergarten Enrollments Up

Sheridan County School District 1 held their August meeting last night. More students means more teachers, and that’s just what is necessary in the district. The Board approved hiring another kindergarten teacher so that more students could be served since registrations are well up from last year.

Teachers are back this week in the District and getting ready for the school year, which is fast approaching. District 1 students start back this coming Monday, August 24th. Belish says the week earlier start is offset by a longer Christmas Holiday this winter.
