At their last meeting the Johnson County School Board discussed a district-owned property that has been inquired about for use, an annual trip for BHS Students and approved an employment request.
District Business Manager Matt Ramey told the board he has been contacted about using the old Learning Tree Building on West Fettterman that the district has not used for the last few years.
Both the local Head Start program and the Community Resource Center have looked into renting the building.
The groups will be looking at the building and deciding if it will fit their needs.
Ramey also said the district has bid the lease for a new school bus with the deadline for submitting the bids set on the 19th. He told the board he will have a recommendation for them at their next board meeting.
The board also appoved a district bus to take a group of Buffalo High School students to Denver to catch a plane for their annual trip to Costa Rica.
Finally the board approved the lone Employment Recommendation at the meeting, approving Aaron Mines as a math instructor at Clear Creek Middle School, replacing Hillary Russell.
