At their meeting in Kaycee this week the Johnson County School Board approved a number of employment requests submitted by administration.
The board reviewed and approved three recommendations.
Brianna Cooper for food service; Michele Gardner as a math instructor in Kaycee; and Erica Mauck as a speech/language pathologist for the district.
The board approved two resignations.
They were Erin Taylor Hansen, a school psychologist, effective at the end of the year; and Chuck Rinn, part-time athletic director at Clear Creek Middle School.
They also approved a leave of absence for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year from Brenda Von Holst, a teacher at Meadowlark Elementary School.
The board discussed and approved an additional school board meeting date of Tuesday, May 20th beginning at 6pm at the district offices. This meeting is in addition to the regularly scheduled meeting on May 12th.
