Recent changes in federal funding have created a need for greater attention to the state's highway budget.
Sheridan County state legislator John Schiffer said this isn't the first time it's happened.
However, there is a plan in place to stay on top of the reallocations. Schiffer explains.
Schiffer said that although a collaboration like this has not happened before, he's confident it will go well and bring about a solution.
