During a Sheridan City Council work session Monday, Sheridan County Conservation District Manager Carrie Rogaczewski updated the Council on some of their projects, past, present and future. Rogaczewski also discussed some of the projects that the Conservation District has worked on in conjunction with the City.
Rogaczewski also asked for the City's continued support of $5,000 for the upcoming fiscal year.
Rogaczewski stated that the Sheridan County Conservation District is one of ten districts in the state that receive less than $50,000 a year from local funding sources. She said that most of their funding comes in the form of federal and state grants.
