The Annual Scandinavian Dinner will be presented this Sunday, February 27 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Buffalo. The event features authentic-styled cuisine of the Scandinavian countries-Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
Scott Madsen, who has been a co-organizer of the event for a number of years, explains what Scandinavian cuisine consists of.
Madsen said those that haven't tried Scandinavian food should come down and give it a try. And, he said, there will be plenty of food to go around.
Dinner will be served from noon until 3pm at the church located at 615 N. Burritt. The annual dinner is a fundraiser that helps rebuild the church's general fund account. The food is prepared and served by church members and their families.
Tickets are $14 for adults, $8 for children ages 6-12, ages five and under are free, and a family ticket can be purchased for $35.
Tickets are available from various church members, at the church office, or they can be purchased at the door the day of the event.
