A team of three Sheridan College welding students took first place at the Skills USA National Championship, according to a media release from Sheridan College.

At the competition held March 31 in Gillette, Cameron Bethke, Jin Mon Kim, and Dillon Winkley earned the top spot out of teams in Wyoming and will compete in the National Skills USA contest this June in Kansas City.

A two-man team from SC, Cole Freeser and Jimmy Ensign, also competed but did not place because they didn't have a third team member.
