This past legislative session was indeed a good one for Sheridan College, as legislators approved $7.5 million dollars for the construction of an Academic Center to be built on campus. Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young explains what the next step in the process is now that the funding has been approved.
Young said that once they've got an architect on board, they'll spend a good bit of time going over requirements and what the highest priorities are to make the facility the best building possible. Young indicated that he envisions the design phase of the Academic Center to run into the fall, and that the groundbreaking probably wouldn't take place until this time next year.
