Sheridan College will close the area surrounding the current Whitney Building and also the exit near the armory beginning Monday, April 9 while the new Edward A Whitney Academic Center is built.

Smith explains the closure of the entrance/exit near the National Guard Armory.
The college has a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Edward A. Whitney Academic Center planned for 4 pm on May 9. The new 53,000 square foot facility is scheduled for completion on August 9 2012 in time for fall classes.
