The Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers board will have a hearing on the 2014/2015 budget at their meeting Wednesday.
The session will start at 5 o'clock in the commissioners meeting room, second floor of the Sheridan County Courthouse.
Also on the agenda is a resolution authorizing a change in billing rates for water supply customers starting in August. Minimum base rates will go up $1 per month for customers with a three-quarter inch meter, and just under $2 a month for all other meter sizes.
Usage rates will increase four cents, to $1.75, per 1,000 gallons up to 8,000 gallons of water, and by eight cents, to $3.67 per 1,000 gallons for 8,001 or more gallons of water used during the month. The first bills reflecting the new rate will go out in September.
In other action, SAWS directors will consider ratification of a master agreement with MWH Global for financial planning services, and hear a request for an appeal of a requirement that a water tap be abandoned.
