SAWS Board Approves Budget

The Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers approved an operating expense budget of $867,552 at their monthly meeting Wednesday night. SAWS Administrator Rod Liesinger talks about one of the larger projects that is on tap for the coming fiscal year.

The budget includes a 2 percent rate increase for users of the SAWS system. Annual rate adjustments are what was recommended by StepWise Consultants.

Liesinger said that the budget includes funds to continue to work with StepWise in the future.
