The Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Board made quick work of a light agenda at their monthly meeting Wednesday. The Board agreed to amend the operating agreement between SAWS and the City of Sheridan. The amendment outlines the cost sharing of the two entities regarding any future projects; however, it does not show a commitment to any such projects says SAWS Administrator Rod Liesinger.
The cost sharing allocation for the Big Goose Water Treatment Plant Clearwell and the cryptosporidium upgrades to both the Big Goose and Sheridan Water treatment plants is 81.1% for the City and 18.9% for the Joint Powers Board.
The Board also denied an appeal from landowners with the Bozeman Trail Ranch.
The owners of the four new lots were requesting that the JPB either wave or reduce the plant investment fees.
