Saturday, through a joint effort of Sheridan College and the University of Wyoming, a free, one-day college education was offered to anyone wanting to experience education at the university level.
Over 60 people attended the Saturday University and Amy Albrecht says the event was a wonderful opportunity.
This was the first time a Saturday University was offered in Sheridan. Lectures included such topics biodiversity in Wyoming, macroeconomics, and a historical look at the dark side 19th Century doctors.
Jon Connolly, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Sheridan College says the Saturday University is a win-win-win opportunity.
The next Saturday University will be held in July.
