With a forecast of rain on the way and roads in Sheridan County already flooding, county officials are galvanizing to make a preemptive strike.
Sheridan Media's Leslie Stratmoen has the latest update from county roads supervisor Rod Liesinger.
He said sandbags can be picked up at the county fairgrounds in Sheridan, just south of Rotary Park, tonight until 7, then again throughout the weekend from 7-7.
Anyone with questions can call the Sheridan County Emergency Manager Dave Coleman. The number is 307-752-2174 or 307-674-5340.
