The Safe Routes to School/Brock Street project is closer to reality, according to Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery, who informed the City Council last week of where the project now stands.
The project is scheduled for completion in August, 2011 if everything stays on schedule, according to Montgomery.
The Planning Commission also had their monthly meeting earlier this month, and approved a variance to Subdivision Code that will allow for lot sizes other than the previous standard 2.5 to 1 front-to-depth ratio. They then recommended the City Council allow the Northside Auto Lot split.
Also at that PC meeting, the County consultant created a Land-Use and Zoning Map. Montgomery explains what happened.
Montgomery will update the Council again at their next meeting January 4th.
