Rosie Berger has officially announced that she is running for her fifth term as Representative for House District 51 in Big Horn. Berger says that the decision came after much prayer and thought, finally determining that there is more for her to do, especially where the state budget is concerned.
Berger says that it has been critical in the last few years on the Joint Appropriations Committee to take a hard look at maintaining and enhancing effective programming, and then taking a serious look at programs that are not working.
The highlights of her time so far in the legislature, she says, has been the opportunity to work with the 89 other legislators, working on so many varied and important issues. She adds that she is proud of her work with education, her work with youth, and her work getting the Graduated Driver's License bill passed. Ultimately, Berger says.
Rosie was first elected Representative for House District 51 in 2002.
