Rocky Mt. Power To Move Utilities On Flatiron Drive

At the last Buffalo City Council meeting, Public Works Director Les Hook reported that Rocky Mountain Power will be moving their underground utilities out of the street right-of-way on Flatiron Drive.

Hook said the mistake was discovered after he requested the company look into installing street lights along the roadway.

He explains what happened.

Hook also reported that the raw water line project is complete except for pressure-reduction valves that they are waiting to receive so crews can install them.

Crews have begun the sewer main installation for the new Cloud Peak Elementary School on Conrad Street. Hook said the project should be completed this week.

Finally Hook asked for permission for the city to enter into a contract for professional services with WWC Engineering on the South Burritt Project.

The council approved the request.
