Chemistry was the subject and rockets were the tools at this month's “Wacky Science Program” held at the library Wednesday morning. Rockets were launched by the young chemists, some ending up on the roof of the library.
Sarah Mentock, Director of Science Kids, describes the experiment.
McKenna Arndt describes the experiment in twelve year-old language.
Wacky Science is all about introducing children to the world of science through interactive experiments geared to their age level. Who knows, maybe there are some future chemists in the making after flying these rockets.
