At 11:15 Saturday morning, the Sheridan Police Department responded to a reported robbery attempt at the Eagles Club at 5th and Main in Sheridan. Rumors spread quickly that there was a stabbing involved, but the Police Department has denied any stabbing and says there was not a safety issue for the public.
The Sheridan Police Department has confirmed that details of the incident will be released Monday morning, as Lt. Chris Dahmke will issue a news release regarding exactly what happened late Saturday morning at the Eagles Club in Sheridan.
