RMI Roundup Fast Approaching, Vols and Sponsors Needed

Buffalo will host this year's Rocky Mountain International (RMI) Roundup coming up in March, and preparations are underway to make the event a success for not just Buffalo, but the surrounding area as well.
Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Director Angela Jarvis explains more about the event.
Jarvis said the VIPs will be here April 28 through May 1 and will be touring local attractions, meeting with local business and community leaders and experiencing Buffalo and NE Wyoming.
80 to 100 VIPs are expected during the weekend showcase, and Jarvis said Buffalo should see an increase in travelers to the area, much like the increase that has occurred since the chamber has become involved in RMI, and other similar events.
According to Jarvis, Johnson County has seen a 60 percent increase in European travelers since becoming involved, bus tours have increased in the area with more expected to be booked this year, and just recently an annual German motorcycle tour was booked for this year as well.
Volunteers are needed in every conceivable way, from shuttling visitors to and from events to planning to helping check visitors in to hotels to helping to set up and clean up at the bigger events.
Sponsors and those willing to make donations to help the event are also needed, Jarvis said.
