18-year-old Riley Larkins made his Initial Appearance in Sheridan County Circuit Court Thursday afternoon before Judge John Sampson on charges stemming from the Monday, May 9th incident in Sheridan County.

Larkins is represented by Sheridan attorney Hardy Tate, and is charged on two counts of Felony Aggravated Assault for allegedly brandishing a handgun with the intent to cause harm upon two individuals, Terrance McDougal and Derek Berrettini, both of Sheridan.

Both counts carry a sentence of up to ten years in prison, a fine of $10,000, or a combination of both.

Sheridan County Attorney Matt Redle requested that a high bond be set on Larkins, saying that he has a criminal history including a prior conviction in Sheridan County Circuit Court on a battery charge from June, 2010, as well as a juvenile criminal history on two occasions when he lived in another state.

Judge Sampson set a cash-only bond on Larkins of $50,000. A Preliminary Hearing has not yet been set.
