The ribbon was cut, the ground was broken, and construction is now officially underway on the West Downtown Phase III Reconstruction Project in Sheridan. The project fully engulfs the Sheridan County YMCA, as it consists of reconstructing Jefferson and Dow Streets. YMCA Executive Director Jay McGinnis says that while it may be challenging at times for people to get to and from the YMCA, it will be well worth it once the project is complete.
The $2.2 million project is expected to be fully complete by mid November of this year.
