The Sheridan Heritage Center is in the final stages of completing the renovation of the Historic Sheridan Inn. Once the second and third floors are complete, the Inn will function as a fully operational hotel with twenty-two themed rooms designed around the life of a notable figure from Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

Sheridan Heritage Center Director of Development Norma Nichols says that two rooms on the second floor are completely done.

Approximately 85% of the Inn has been renovated and is functional. Nichols explains what's left to be raised to complete the project.

Nichols stated that once the rest of the funds are raised and she gives the contractor the go ahead to finish the remaining twenty rooms on the second and third floors, the renovation should be complete within 90 to 100 days.

The Historic Sheridan Inn will turn 118 this Saturday, as the Inn formally opened on June 18th, 1893.
