RENEW Shootout Receives FIB Gift

At a media conference Tuesday morning, RENEW President Larry Samson accepted a generous gift from First Interstate Bank to kick off the announcement of the 7th Annual RENEW Foundation Shootout.

First Interstate Bank has been a supporter of RENEW for well over three decades, and has been a Major Event Sponsor of the Shootout since its beginning. Samson told those gathered how important that support is to the organization.

Presenting a check in the amount of $5,000, downtown Sheridan First Interstate Bank President, Bill Huppert said.

Along with First Interstate Bank, supporting sponsors are Sheridan Travel & Tourism, Star Liquor, T & C Liquor, Farmer's Co-Op, Great Lakes Airlines, Rocky Mountain Discount Sports, the Sports Lure and Sheridan Media.

As for the Shootout, it is slated for Saturday, May 21st at the Sportsman's Gun Club west of Sheridan. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by a 9 o'clock practice and the Shoot at 10 a.m.

Businesses and others are encouraged to purchase tax-deductible sponsorships for teams ranging from $100 to $1,000. Each team has five shooters, and individual or additional team shooters pay $60 per adult and $30 for juniors and students.

Registrants receive a free T-shirt, BBQ lunch and a shotgun raffle ticket. Also, everyone who shoots is entered to win a $1,000 gift certificate from the Sports Lure.
