Saturday's 8th annual RENEW (Rehabilitation Enterprises of North Eastern Wyoming) Shoot Out at the Sheridan County Gun Club was blessed with great weather and a great turnout.

Shooter Dwain Trost from Pahrump, Nevada tells us why he and his wife were shooting in an event a thousand miles from home.

RENEW President & CEO Larry Samson comments on this year's Shoot Out.

14 Teams (5 shooters on a team) participated. The winning team was "The Misfits" -- so named, they decided, because they had never shot together before. On that winning team: Ed Kimutis of Clearmont; Rick Landeis of Wyarno; Brad Siruta of Sheridan; Mark Dick of Sheridan and John Stotz of Gillette.

RENEW Public Relations Officer Ace Young says  the Shoot Out is the biggest fundraiser for the Sheridan-based non-profit that provides services for persons with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Revenues from the Shoot Out are still being tabulated but are expected to be in excess of 20 thousand dollars.
