This weekend, Relay for Life of Sheridan is encouraging you to spend the morning with your dog at Kendrick Park for the first ever “Bark for Life” event to fight cancer. Nicole Marron, Community Relationship Manager with the American Cancer Society.
Walk registration is $10, and includes a bandana for the participating pooches. Proceeds raised during the event will benefit our two and four-legged friends battling cancer.
There will be music and contest for the cutest dog, so don't be shy about dressing up your hound. Participants are also asked to bring a can of human food that will be used during the luminaria ceremony in June before being donated to a local food bank. The walk starts at 8:30 Saturday morning.
