The Big Horn Mountain chapter of Society for Human Resources Management will conduct their yearly fundraiser later this September, in the form of two workshops where they will offer their career management training.
Laura Lehan, business consultant and executive coach for SHRM, tells us what those workshops will involve.
A national organization, SHRM's Big Horn Chapter offers workshops year-round to area businesses, large or small. Lehan says the interest in this offering has increased in Sheridan in recent years.
Lehan has 20 years of experience working with companies including First Federal Savings Bank, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Nordstrom, Hyundai, Philips Medical Systems and Patagonia Sportswear. She received her masters from the Leadership Institute of Seattle and has a BS in Education.
The workshops will take place from 1 to 5 pm on Tues. Sept. 27 and from 8 am to noon on Thurs. Sept. 29 at Sheridan College's Main Street location. Cost is $80 for SHRM members and $120 for non-members, and registration for the workshops will close after Sept. 18.
