A day-long workshop was held for regional high school students to take their art form, out of the box, and look at it from a new perspective.
It all revolved around a poem called “Reflections” by Shel Silverstein. Sheridan College Art and Drawing instructor Tawni Shuller explains.
It's all about taking a poem and using music, theater or the visual arts and applying it to the poem. Saturday, the students in the Art House mentored the high school students in looking beyond their art and seeing it through the eyes of other artists.
