Recruiting Still a Focus at Buffalo's Healthcare Center

Recruiting was discussed and still identified as a priority at the last board meeting for the Johnson County Healthcare Center.
Hospital Administrator Sandy Ward told the board that recruitment efforts had not resulted in any hiring yet, but a number of candidates had at least shown some interest.
The healthcare center is looking for one, but possibly a number of physicians as well as a female Obstetrician.
They have received interest from one Obstetrician so far, and Ward said she was a strong candidate.
Also discussed was a physician that is looking to possibly relocate to the area this fall, and Ward said they will keep in contact with him about future employment opportunities.
A doctor from Sheridan is wanting to work in the clinic here at the JCHC, apparently to gain more experience. Ward said they will be looking into the possibility.
