The fourth annual walk/run for breast cancer awareness on October 20 saw better numbers in everything from participants to volunteers. Executive Director of the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation, Ada Kirven, briefed the hospital's Board of Trustees Thursday and shared these figures.
Kirven said she estimates well over a thousand people attended, including hundreds of people who chose to participate but not register. In any case, Kirven said this year's Link was one for the record books.
