The paintings of a local artist are on display this month at the library in Sheridan.

The artist is Tom Randazzo of Sheridan. A reception for the artist has been planned for Wednesday night, from 5-7.

According to information provided by library staff, the artist has titled his exhibit, “Balance and Texture.” He works in many different types of media, according to his biography, including what might be considered unconventional materials, like wax and motor oil.

This is his second show at the local library on Alger. He says he's a self-described retiree and frustrated drummer who's excited for the community to see his work. The library is open from 9-9 Monday through Thursday, 9-5 Fridays and Saturdays, and from 1-5 on Sundays.
