Icy roads along with the colder temperatures couldn't keep folks away from the Ranchester Town Hall Saturday. It was their Fall Festival which included a craft bazaar and free chili supper with apple and pumpkin pie.
Ranchester's Clerk/Treasurer, Teri Laya, says the event was set a little earlier this year.
But once again, no fireworks. The weather was just too cold for the fireworks board to be set up.
Close to 40 vendors were on hand and the Town Hall was full of shoppers. Laya says it's all about community.
The community did enjoy a bonfire after the Fall festival.
