RANCHESTER TOWN COUNCIL APPROVES BUDGET ORDINANCE ON FIRST READING AND AGREEMENT WITH SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The Ranchester Council discussed the budget and an agreement with the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office at their meeting Tuesday night. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

The Town Council passed the budget ordinance on first reading with the understanding that the bottom line could change before the 3rd reading in July.

The Council also approved a joint agreement between the town, the County Commissioners and the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office.

There was also a brief presentation by Sheridan Senior Center Director Carmen Rideout, who thanked the Council for their support and said she looks forward to continuing to work with the community of Ranchester.
