For the third year, Tongue River High School and the Ranchester Community Church are teaming up for their version of an Empty Bowl fundraiser, to be held next Tuesday in Dayton.
All money raised will be divided between the Community Cupboard and the TRHS Art Department. The church's pastor, Jeff Browning, describes what the Community Cupboard does.
As for why the proceeds will be shared with the school's Art Department, Pastor Browning says.
Art director Bonnie Klasinski led the bowl-crafting project. Students from the FCCLA program and adult volunteers will prepare the homemade soup. And the TRHS Soaring E.A.G.L.E.S. and TRHS Art and Drama students will give top-notch service.
Soup will be served beginning at 4:30 pm, Tuesday, April 19th in the Tongue River High School Cafeteria.
An art show and spring music concert will round out the evening, so Browning says a family can make an evening out of it.
