The month of February has been designated as Children's Dental Health Awareness Month, and being a short month, the culmination will actually be Friday, March 4th. The National “Give Kids a Smile” day will be held, and at Sheridan College area dentists and hygienists will be conducting a free outreach.
That's Krystin Raabe, who is a prospective dental student. She stresses the “free” part of the event.
Raabe says that appointments are appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome.
This is the second year Sheridan dental professionals have taken part in the “Give Kids a Smile” day.
