Main Street in Downtown Sheridan is getting a temporary face lift to commemorate October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Kelly Schreibeis Memorial Foundation has added a little bit of pink to the downtown area and they invite the public to a special lighting ceremony Friday, October, 1st at 5:30 pm on Grinnell Plaza. KSMF Vice President Renee Moshier explains why the special ceremony was put together.

Moshier says that the lighting ceremony will also include a celebration of someone special.

The Kelly Scheibeis Memorial Foundation is a local foundation that provides financial assistance to those in Sheridan county undergoing breast cancer treatment. More information on the KSMF can be found here.
