Various local agencies affiliated with public transportation in Sheridan met nearly a month ago to discuss the need for an additional means of transportation in the city. After that initial meeting in January, Sheridan Mini-Bus Director Barb Daugherty worked with Department of Workforce Services Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Juan Duran on putting together a community survey to determine if another form of public transportation is needed in Sheridan. Daugherty says that the survey is complete and can be picked up at several locations in Sheridan.
Daugherty said that the surveys will be available until March 15th. After the surveys have been collected and the information has been processed, tentative plans are to have another meeting with the agencies involved.
