Public Service Commission Hears From Community on Proposed MDU Rate Increase

The C-Tel meeting room at Sheridan College was overflowing last night with citizens wanting to voice their concerns regarding the proposed MDU rate increase. Sheridan Media's Betsy Love has more:

"A 12.5 percent rate of return is reasonable only if you feel MDU should be in the running to displace Goldman Sachs as the reining poster-child for corporate greed and arrogance." This is one of the many comments critical of the rate increase made at the public hearing last night.

And all these comments will be taken into consideration says Alan B. Minier Chairman of the Public Service Commission, during a decision making process that will be similar to a legal trial.

Therefore, he says, it will be a while before any decision is reached.

The date for the next hearing is scheduled for February 23rd at 10.

You couldn't have asked for

You couldn't have asked for a better example of Plagiarism then Kinskeys performance. He managed to take Attorney Nan Winters expert testimony and pawn it off as his own.Whenever there's cameras present kinskey has to be in front of one.Of course city council had to be present because they all knew that they had to attend a farse of an executive session to appoint Kinskeys buddy from gillette to the position of police chief.

The rest of the public did an excellent job of fighting MDU.

i agree

the public has done a great job fighting because we have had a chance to do so. i guess kinskey cant run this through on an emergency session or last minutes of a session and pass it because its not on the agenda. but im sure if they offer a slice of the pie to him he will try to.
