The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has received a proposal to rename the Monument Point Access area at Lake DeSmet in honor of Malcom Wallop.
Game and Fish Information Specialist Warren Mischke.
Mischke says that they'll be taking public comment on the name change for the next couple of weeks.
Mischke said that comments can be provided by phone by calling the Sheridan Game and Fish office at 672-7418 or you can also submit written comments to their office.
