Austyn Nashay Levi suffers from an incurable disorder called Interstitial Cystits. A fundraiser is being held on her behalf Saturday, April 2nd.

The Sheridan community is invited to come to the assistance for another young person who is undergoing extensive medical treatment for an illness.

19-year-old Austyn Nashay Levi, who goes by Nashay, is a 2010 Sheridan High School graduate who has been battling the extreme pain and complications caused by a bladder disorder called Interstitial Cystitis.

While not deadly, Nashay has to be hooked up to a medi-port for the rest of her life, through which her treatments go to the affected area. She also has to make several trips to Denver each month to receive treatment.

This Saturday, April 2nd, a local group will be hosting a Pub Crawl fundraiser to help offset Nashay's medical costs, says event co-organizer Suzie Flanagan. Flanagan explains why she got involved.

As for the details of the Pub Crawl, Flanagan outlines the afternoon.

Speaking of hats, participants are invited to wear the most obnoxious hat they can. When back at the Kalif Shrine for food and more fun, a prize will be awarded to the person determined to have the most obnoxious of those worn.

The trolleys and designated drivers of other vehicles transporting the pub crawlers will leave the Shrine Center at 2:30 pm, and arrive back at the Shrine at 7 pm, where everyone will enjoy food prepared by the Shrine women.
