(WY News Service) -- Product recalls are now being made easier for Wyoming residents. The Consumer Product Safety Commission's website is user-friendly, says Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association President, Paul Shively.
There's also a feature that allows people to report unsafe products.
There has been a decline in the number of injuries caused by malfunctioning products over the past 30 years, which Shively credits to the CPSC. Bike helmets, floor lamps, and portable electric heaters were all recalled for safety issues this January in Wyoming. You can also search for older products on the site. You can also sign up to receive updates via email. Visit cpsc.gov to check it out.
